Shipping policy

All ready made orders are processed within 5-7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Please keep in mind that items such as hand painted pieces, custom work, and pre- orders will have their own set time frames. These items will have a time frame placed in the product listing, order wise you will be contacted regarding the shipping time frame. If you would like to know more before order, please reach out at thehollowbird@gmail.com

Please note that if your item is not tracked we do not offer refunds for lost items. While it is a very rare occurence for item to get lost, if you are concerned please reach out and we can arrange for your order to be bumped to tracked shipping at an additional fee.

We offer shipping to Canada and USA current, however if you are looking to purchase from a different country, please reach out, and we will see if it is possible.

Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for orders  within Nanaimo for $10 . 

You will recieve and email to confirm a time for delivery. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you before your delivery, as well as a photo confirmation of delivery afterwards. We will not replace any items stolen. 


International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the USA for $5 for small letter mail, and a flat rate of $20 for anything over letter mail sizing. 

If you are looking to order from outside of Canada and the US please contact us to see if we are able to make arrangements to ship to you  by emailing thehollowbird@gmail.com

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Hollowbird is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

 


How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support thehollowbird@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Please note that some of items may be unable to deliver to p.o. boxes, if we see your order is unable to deliver this was, we will reach out to make alternative arrangments.
